About the UAE Golden Visa (2025 Rules)
The UAE Golden Visa is a long-term residence visa which enables foreign talents to live, work or study in the UAE while enjoying exclusive benefits. Investors, entrepreneurs, scientists, outstanding students and graduates, humanitarian pioneers and among the first liners are among those eligible.
Key benefits include the ability to sponsor your family members (including spouse and children regardless of their age) and unlimited support services workers. Holders can stay outside the UAE for more than 6 months to keep their residence visa valid.
Under the 2024-2025 updates, the minimum down payment requirement of AED 1 million for real estate investors has been removed. Investors now only need to own property worth AED 2 million or more, regardless of whether it is mortgaged, off-plan, or ready property.
